Forestry 441: Principles of Silviculture, Oregon State University, Spring 2012: Biological and operational dimensions of forestry, defined as: the art and science of manipulating forests to meet an objective. This course examines natural tree and stand development with fundamentals of stand dynamics, site productivity, stand density, and tree growth/architecture.
